Kozhikode Medical College Sub division came to existence vide GO (Ms) No.49/2021/Home dated 17-02-2021 in which the Kozhikode City Police district was bifurcated in to Kozhikode Medical college, Kozhikode Town and Ferok Sub divisions. Kozhikode Medical College Subdivision office is functioning in building No.3/317 A of Kozhikode Corporation from 16-03-2006. The building is situated at T.S.No.3-9-628/1 of Kacheri Amsom desom was constructed by Kerala Police Housing Construction Corporation. It was inaugurated by Sri.M.N.Krishnamurthy IPS, Inspector General of Police, North Zone, Kozhikode on 16-03-2006 in the presence of Sri.V.Santharam IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police Kannur Range and Sri.H.Venkatesh IPS, Commissioner of Police Kozhikode City.
