                As per G.O.(Ms.) No.198/2020 Home dated 22nd October,2020, Government have accorded sanction to establish fifteen Cyber Crime Police Station in fifteen Police Districts, and by creatingfifteen new post of Inspector of Police.  Consequent to the establishment of new fifteen Cyber Crime Police Stations the jurisdiction of existing Cyber Crime Police Stations at Thiruvananthapuram , Kochi , Thrissur and Kozhikode  shall be limited to the Police Districts off Thiruvananthapuram city, Kochi City, Thrissur City and Kozhikode City respectively.  All the Police Stations shall be empowered to investigate cases registered under the provisions of the information technology Act 2000(Central Act 21 of 2000) along with other offences made punishable under statutes.  Further these police Stations shall investigate cases without Information Technology Act, provided computer/Information Technology resources are used to commit such crimes.
