Tele Communication unit is entrusted with up keeping and maintenance of all communication channels and equipments to provide communication for the day to day effective policing in the District. One Tele Communication unit is working under the supervision of Inspector of Police and its Head Quarters is at Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram controlled by Superintendent of Police Tele Communication
A team of officers and men to carry out the entire efficient communication like HF (Morse Code), VHF, UHF and Data communication/CoB (Communication Back Bone). The team is Capable to high specification repair and installation works of VHF and UHF sets. All the technical works (Electronic/Computer/Data) are carried out by this unit for the day to day effective policing.
